Thank you for visiting my profile.
I am a psychologist with extensive experience in clinical practice and a strong commitment to supporting clients in their personal growth. Currently, I am in Stage Three of my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University, where I am further developing my skills in evidence-based therapies.
My approach focuses on creating a safe and collaborative space where clients feel heard and supported in exploring their experiences and working toward positive change. I integrate Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices, including Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), to support individuals recovering from trauma and other challenges.
With experience working with clients from a range of cultural backgrounds, I strive to bring sensitivity and understanding to my practice. I am fluent in Arabic and can provide therapy in the language, which can be especially helpful for clients seeking connection through shared language and cultural understanding.
I have worked with individuals navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs and to work collaboratively to support their well-being.

Hello and thank you for considering me to support your mental health needs.
Supporting people to live happier and more contented lives has always been a passion of mine. This started with a strong inner hope towards more fulfilment in my own personal relationships as well as a need to help those around me. It was not long before I channelled this into volunteer counselling services when I was eighteen. It has now been fifteen years since I started supporting children over the phone in a helpline service and the passion to heal is just as strong within my independent practice.
I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including NHS Settings, cancer support services, LGBTQIA+ charities, education, school counselling, as well as management, supervision and teaching positions.
I have progressed towards a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and have completed an honours degree in Psychology and a doctoral degree In Counselling Psychology. I have come to specialize in areas of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, gender and sexuality issues, children and parental therapies and personality issues.
I have trained in multiple therapies including; person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, schema therapy, systemic, play and integrative therapies.
My way of working as a practitioner has evolved over the years. I recall seeing the benefit of educating clients over skills and tools to manage emotional distress as well as the importance of empowering a client towards inner peace and change. However, I now work with deeper unmet needs from early life and offer the healing power of a reparative relationship that brings long lasting change.
I look forward to hearing from you and being alongside you as you heal.

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
My practice places your individual needs and experiences at the centre of the therapeutic process. I offer a grounded, neutral, and accepting space in which you can explore your concerns at a pace that feels right for you.
Our work together focuses on developing a clearer understanding of how your thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour interact and influence your wellbeing. Rather than seeking to diagnose or apply techniques, I aim to facilitate a process that enables reflection, clarity, and the possibility of lasting personal change.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together in a way that’s tailored to your specific needs. I have experience working with a range of presentations, including social anxiety, addiction, depression, low self-esteem, and experiences of abuse. Through careful exploration, we can begin to uncover the emotions and meanings that sit beneath these experiences. As this understanding deepens, the weight of distress often begins to ease, bringing greater clarity, stability, and trust in your own capacity for change.
I am currently in the final year of my master’s degree in Person-Centred Psychotherapy at the University of Strathclyde and work under regular professional supervision.
If you would like to arrange an initial session or find out more, you are welcome to get in touch.
