Our psychologists hold doctorates in counselling psychology and specialize in understanding and supporting mental health through assessment, research, and therapy. They draw on a variety of evidence-based approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Systemic Therapy—often integrating methods to suit each individual’s needs.

To learn more about each practitioner’s approach, please see their profiles. You can book directly with a psychologist, who will carry out your initial assessment during your first two therapy sessions.

Psychotherapy

Our psychotherapists are experienced mental health professionals who provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) to support individuals in changing unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Each is trained in at least one therapeutic model, and some are currently completing advanced training toward their doctoral qualification.

Child Therapy Services

Book directly with one of our children and families practitioners to learn about the treatments available for your child before their first session. For children aged 5–16, parents are required to attend an initial parent assessment session first. If you’ve already completed this assessment, you can go ahead and book your child’s first therapy session.

New Client Intake Appointment

Not sure which type of therapy is right for you? Start with an initial assessment with one of our assistant psychologists. After your assessment, we’ll provide tailored clinical recommendations and a suggested treatment plan to support your needs.

Hello and thank you for considering me to support your mental health needs.

Supporting people to live happier and more contented lives has always been a passion of mine. This started with a strong inner hope towards more fulfilment in my own personal relationships as well as a need to help those around me. It was not long before I channelled this into volunteer counselling services when I was eighteen. It has now been fifteen years since I started supporting children over the phone in a helpline service and the passion to heal is just as strong within my independent practice.

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including NHS Settings, cancer support services, LGBTQIA+ charities, education, school counselling, as well as management, supervision and teaching positions.

I have progressed towards a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and have completed an honours degree in Psychology and a doctoral degree In Counselling Psychology. I have come to specialize in areas of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, gender and sexuality issues, children and parental therapies and personality issues.

I have trained in multiple therapies including; person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, schema therapy, systemic, play and integrative therapies.

My way of working as a practitioner has evolved over the years. I recall seeing the benefit of educating clients over skills and tools to manage emotional distress as well as the importance of empowering a client towards inner peace and change. However, I now work with deeper unmet needs from early life and offer the healing power of a reparative relationship that brings long lasting change.

I look forward to hearing from you and being alongside you as you heal.

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to view my profile.

Supporting those around me has long been a passion of mine. What began as an innate drive to be there for others took on new meaning when I completed my counselling skills course. This experience inspired me to take the next step in offering support within a professional capacity, deepening my appreciation for the privilege of hearing and understanding others’ experiences.

Now, as I continue my journey in therapy, I am committed to providing a warm, accepting, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. I also take a holistic approach to well-being, recognising the interconnectedness of mind, body, and emotions in the therapeutic process.

I aim to offer a safe and brave space where all emotions are welcome to be explored and expressed. My practice is adaptive to the needs of my client and so we may use words in session or I may invite creative expression such as art, story and music. Whatever feels the right way to communicate for clients is what I will strive to support and nurture!

My training is in Dramatherapy and I gained my MSc from Queen Margaret’s University. Like play therapy and art therapy, dramatherapy is a form of psychotherapy and offers a diverse way of communicating that may be helpful when words are too much (or not enough). I also incorporate CBT and person-centered therapies into my practice as I aim to offer a truly integrative space for clients to explore thoughts, experiences and emotions.

My experience lies predominately with children and young people adapting to illness, neurodiversity or life transitions. I also have experience with families and working in a child-centered way that also supports parents and care givers.

In sessions I will be alongside you in your journey, meet you where you are and will be there to witness and hold a space for you to explore the parts of your story that arise for you during our time together.

Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.

I am currently in the second year of the Counselling Psychology Doctorate at Glasgow Caledonian University. Throughout my doctoral training, and in previous supporting roles, I have had the privilege of working with adults, adolescents, and children across various settings, including private practice, education institutions, and third-sector organisations.

Through these roles, I have supported clients facing a diverse range of challenges. A central theme in this work has been trauma and adversity; where I have worked with clients to explore how past experiences shape their relationship with themselves, others, and the world around them. Therefore, I am particularly attuned to the impact of trauma, approaching this with care and curiosity to ensure a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.

My work is grounded in person-centred and experiential therapy, with the integration of cognitive behavioural therapy where appropriate. Whilst these approaches inform my work, I am a deeply humanistic practitioner seeking to prioritise your lived experience in the therapeutic space.

Alongside my clinical experience, I bring warmth, kindness, and a strong commitment to fostering a respectful and trusting therapeutic relationship. My hope is to offer a space where you are met with compassion and without pressure to be anything other than yourself. I believe in your capacity to grow and heal, and I am here to support you in finding your own voice and direction.
